Extensive experience in design, construction and operation of large complex facilities such as PURPA electric generating plants CGT, CC, CGCC, FBC, water treating, NGL extraction, fractionation, LNG liquefaction and gasification, etc. Manager of engineering and operating functions responsible for major project definition, design, construction, operations, maintenance, financial performance and retirement.

Progressed from Project Engineer to Operations Manager

Shell Exploration & Production Company (SEPCo) projects management for power generation, oil and natural gas production projects. Managed project teams to accomplish project identification, process selection, scoping, economic justification, funds appropriation, bid documents/contracts preparation, bidder qualification, bidding, permitting and contract award processes. Directed major engineering contractors in design, construction and commissioning of facilities. Typical A and E firms used include Becthel, Fluor, Black and Vetch, Parsons, Brown and Root, MW Kellogg, John Brown, etc. Projects to $1 Billion, included PURPA power generation projects Cove Point Maryland LNG terminal, Bellridge Oil Company acquisition (California), Brunei Offshore Production, Sakalin Island (Russia) Gas development, Cameroon Offshore, worldwide gas processing plants NGL/LNG projects. and oil production/processing facilities.

Operations Manager responsible for performance of oil and gas production division.Diverse facilities included power generation, gathering systems for oil and gas, oil/gas separation and treating, gas treating and NGL recovery, steam flood, water treating, CO2 injection/recovery, and. Managed overall production, financial, and environmental performance. Responsible for O&M and capital budgets to meet operating factor targets.
